Customer writes .........
Our 60 Watt laser cartridge does not seem to be firing

Service Engineer fitted a new 60 Watt Laser Cartridge and again it would not fire. The Service Engineer tried connecting with his Laptop and the Laser started working. He tried the initial Laser Cartridge again and that worked fine. He then tried connecting with the customers computer and again the Laser started to work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Things to check,
1. In the Diagnostics Tab in the UCP software, Check that the Laser Cartridge has been detected
2. Unplug the USB cable and then reconnect, it is possible that the Service Engineers UCP software may have had an updated version of the Laser Cartridge Firmware and updated it an dthats why it worked on the original PC
