Laser stops cutting after 15to 20 mins

Customer reported that his Versalaser VLS3.50 30 watt stopped cutting after about 15 mins depending on the room temperature. The software did not display any alarms & the head still moved as if it were cutting. He would then have to wait for over 30mins for it to start to work again.

The fan inside the laser cartridge was not running. It was found to switch on when the machine was turned on initially but stopped after a couple of seconds. The laser cartridge was found to then get hot & trip the output until left to cool down.
A replacement cartridge was fitted to overcome the fault.
