VL300 / VL200 Vista driver "Port Monitor" error

Versa Laser VL300 / VL200 drivers for Vista. I thought we had got the problem licked, however, if I install the drivers with the laser connected it works fine but as soon as the laptop is switched off and rebooted I get the error message that "The port monitor has not been properly installed - you may need to uninstall the Versalaser software then reinstall it".

This then, prevents the laser from being recognised by the laptop and nothing works. There is obviously still a problem so any advice you may be able to give me would be very welcome.

This is only when using the current Versalaser drivers which are still in a beta testing stage when running on Vista.

Thanks for your patience - ULS will no doubt have it working 100% on Vista very soon

I am using Vista and have no problem with either the VLS or PLS drivers. I think the problem refers to the older range of lasers the VL200 and VL300.

This is the green driver icon.

VLS/PLS Vista Drivers should working without any problems. Just note: 64 BIT VISTA will be not supported at the moment.

VL VISTA Drivers are still under development.
