Hi
I'm new to the site and new to cnc in general. I have a Triac with an auto flood coolant system and I am mostly machining aluminium at the moment.
I was wondering what suitable coolants other members were using as I am having trouble finding Cincinnati Millacron Simcool C60, the coolant reccommended in the Triac manual, from a UK suppier. Ideally I'm looking for something which isn't too hard on the lungs once the particles become airborne.
Any help advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I use Fuchs ecocool ultralife A, I find that even if I leave my machine for a week I don't get any bacterial growth. Not too expensive either, you can buy it from Cromwell tools.

Many thanks for taking the time to reply James. I went for Multispec multicut soluble oil from Chronos in the end. So far so good. I will definitely look into your recommendation next time.
Thanks again

I've been using this too. I really like it so far. Doesn't smell at all.
