Need to get some tooling together for my machine.
I need to know what taper is on the back end of tool and if anyone sells them.
Ideally need a small collet chuck, with usual size collets.
drill chuck
small face mill.
many thanks in advance

I think the best place to start looking would be
www.ebay.co.uk (if you haven't already looked there)
A guy on ebay took a lot of our old stock of collets and chucks etc.. - try him:
https://stores.ebay.co.uk/RDG-Tools-OnLine
I've just been told that the taper is a BT35

No - I think they are in Hebden Bridge/Todmorden near us in West Yorks - they have a Halifax phone number

OK Thanks.
Nick are you talking about the spindle taper, which I believe is R8, or do you have a quick change holder fitted to the machine (which will have the R8 taper on the back end) if it is the quick change I'm not sure what taper it is but I know where to get the units.

Just had a look at the machine properly this afternoon and it is indeed just an R8 taper ! Thats good as i can buy these locally for a very good price through my rep at work.
