Hi all !

I am new to this forum.
...Trying to check voltages on my Triac's inverter while main drive motor was running at low rpm, accidentally the multimeter's tip came in contact with improper terminal.
Instantly it lost screen entries which makes it impossible to communicate
through machine's dialogue.
Triac looks dead after that and I can only see green straight lines on the crt.
If some of you have experience with this particular mill of 1986 please give me a hint of where to look at.
Replacing the inverter might fix the problem?
Because this machine's main board architecture is based on xx74 series TTL
low voltage I just hope the short circuit that I caused may not have damaged low voltage control circuits.

Is it a PNC3 control (electrics in a drawer with monitor in centre)??

Have a look at the LED`s & fuses on the control card. They are on the large circuit board on the right hand side of the draw.
The power section is on the back left when looking from the front.

...Hi Martin. My name is Dima. _All fuses, those on the hidden rear panel and those on the board are intact.
I own another Triac as well. The green one which is earlier version by 2 years i think and wiring is not 100 percent interchangable.
If it were i might have located in which section is the problem.
I have managed to pinpoint trouble in my Orac's X-drive and fixed that overnight but with the Triac I can only cross my fingers...
