1986 Triac Spindle Drawings?
Hi
Is there anyone that have drawings or such of the TRIAC (-86 or similar) spindle?
I am planning a new spindle for higher speeds.
Thanks

These drawings are a lot newer, but I don't think the Triac head has changed much over the years:

Thanks for the hint.
Although the head look a lot similar there is a lot of changes. What I am looking for in particular is the dimensions of the bearings and how they are inserted (straight into the casting or is there a machines "bearing-seat"). I plan on making a house that bolts into the holes of the bottom plate of the spindle. When I get to my mill (I live far away from my mill for the moment) I will try to take some pictures and explain what I am after.
Has anyone changed their spindle bearings and can tell how they are mounted?
Best Regards

Re: 1986 Triac Spindle Drawings?
Hi,
I am interested in making a drawbar for a triac PC with manual toolchange to be able to use ISO 30 toolholders in the spindle instead of te easychange chuck. The idea is to use the same grabbing mechanism as use on the ATC spindle but with a manual lever to push the draewbar down instead of a pneumatic method. I see drawings have already been put on the site for various spindle parts. It looks like the actual spindle of the triac PC ATC and PC manual toolchange is the same but with a different drawbar type. Does anyone have the following drawings.
TR20/110
TR3/113
TR3/110
BL 00198E. I Think (this is the spring inside tha ATC spindle) on drawing TR5/100
TR20/109
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Bob
