I have a 2000 year model Triac VMC. The electronics box got dropped, thats why it was sold to me. I need the pinout for the plug that is mounted on the mill or the wire numbers and what they are in the controller box.
Model: Triac VMC
Serial: U00041
Dispatch Date: May 2000
Export # U00041
Electronics Serial OC00222601
Software Ver. 2.102/2.119
Also what axis controller do I have?
Thanks,
Mike Brooks

- Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then. - Location: Sunny Brighouse

You have a Baldor EuroCard with the DOS eprom
If you get it all working again - it would be an ideal candidate for upgrade to USB connection and windows VR Milling Version 5 control software -
see this document to see the benefits (eg, machining from a DXF/DWG or PCB gerber file, high speed smooth 3D contouring):
https://www.denfordata.com/projectimages ... lling5.pdf
On your machine the process would be:
1. Buy a NextMove ST - eurocard format
2. VR Milling 5 will be supplied with the above
3. Fit a USB bulkhead fitting to the electrical box
4. Replace the old euro card and wire the USB to the bulkhead
5. Re-connect the duaghter board ribbon cable
6. Ignore the internal PC and just use a modern (PIII minimum) PC running windows XP, externally
7. Install VR Milling 5 and select Triac VME as your machine
We have upgraded similar machines in the past so I'm 99% sure that you wont have any compatibility problems
