Hi,
My triac has the NEE control system.
I would like to be able to drip feed Gcode to it from a PC using the rs232 interface.
Is there any software available from Denford to do this?

Yes, It opens as a editor window so you can open text or paste it in.

I am looking to buy some software which would allow me to create a model of what I am hoping to machine, and generate a gcode program that I could then use by saving to a disk, opening in the text editor, and run on the machine.
Is this possible, and which software would be applicable?
The serial number of the triac is TR030361, made in 1986, and control serial number 156.
If you could point me in the right direction, it would be very much appreciated.

Probably the best buy would be BobCAD-CAM, it is pretty easy to learn as it is what could be termed "Wizard driven", it has a full simulation of the part and the machine cutting, produces the G code and can be purchased with a G code Editor/backplot facility.
Here is a link to a small Demo I did of the softwares simulation running a small program, there is no sound on it but it will give you an idea of what the sim looks like.
