Hi All,
The Starmill I purchased through a large auction site has for some reason had the 7 pin Din socket disconnected from the cable, can anybody tell me which wire should go to which pin. Should the red led be flashing all the time on the board, will this stop once the PC is connected?
Thanks
Graham

Pin 2 - Green.
Pin 6 - Red.
Pin 7 - Blue.
You can just see it in the picture on this post but it's also shown in electrical drawings in the manual attached to the same post.

Re: Starmill NEE control serial cable pinouts
with the help of the above I have managed to get the serial cable fixed and the machine communicates with the PC it says its ok in the test and downloads settings, when I go to datum the machine I get an error message saying drives are turned off but they are on and the red light on the board flashes 2 short flashes which is the right error for the drives fault. I am running 2.5 of the software is this right for this machine serial number on machine is RM16039A dated June 1989 electronics serial no 063
