Mirac PC "Error 50" Mirac controller disconnected

We have a small Mirac PC machine that was once used as a training tool at a university in the US. The machine is in perfect condition. however the old 486 based pc was dead. So we put the harddrive, which included the software such as 'mirac', and fanucl installed. the 'fanucl' loads up and we can setup the machine for a simulation. The Mirac software won't launch. We get an error 50,Mirac controller disconnected. We have the machine into 'com1' and the 'desk-Top Tutor' keyboard into 'com2'. The machine is an ATX 450Mhz PIII machine. Can you help us with this?
