What version of turning software are you wanting to run?

Judging by the title DOS and Win 98, The design of 'modern' computers is such that you can't run DOS based software on them the CPU can't do it. Im not sure if it is possible to run DOSbox on an older PC that is running Win7 OS though.

So really it would depend on the processor/mother board. If you are running any of the Intel i3 i5 i7 then no is the answer (don't know about the duel core or AMD stuff) you would be better finding an old Pentium based machine for it.

I missed the giveaway in the title.

Depending on the control fitted Denfords may be able to offer a software upgrade. we would need the machine serial number to look it up first though.

you can copy the programm with external "dikette reader" from pc win7 and put it in w98 pc.
i do this and it work perfect.
denford mirac oct 1989 knew canned cycles (for exemple G71 G76 ) so you can use recent software correctly postprocessed with fanuc.
