Hi,
the serial number is 50809B , I have got a freind to put the software on to a 3 1/2 inch floppy and tried it in the machine and it says incorrect disc or faulty disc. Any ideas, this is the file he downloaded 'Mirac.zip' is this the corect software for this machine?
Thanks

Did you unzip it first?
Re: Mirac installation software
If it`s a standard Mirac with a PC built inside you will need to create a Dos start up disc.
You need to use a computer running Windows 98 or a older version.
With the disc in the drive right click on it in "My Compurt" & then go to "Format".
Then there is option for to "copy systems files only" or similar. If you tick this you can then create a boot disc. You may then need to create a "Autoexec.bat" file on the disc with the line "Mirac" on the first line.

Re: Mirac installation software
Hi,
I have now created the boot disc after getting hold of an old windows 98 laptop, the mirac seems to boot up ok and no error codes.
But thats as far as it goes (see attached photo's) do I need a seperate keyboard or pc?
Thanks

Re: Mirac installation software
You now need to create a "autoexec.bat" file on the floppy & insert the name of the software on the first line.
. May be easier to create it back on the Windows 98 pc. Have a look on the floppy disc as to what the "exe" file name is. I presume it may be "mirac" or "flstep" but the sutoexec.bat file needs to have whichever on the first line.
The other option is to plug a qwerty keyboard in to the socket on the side & sinmply type in "mirac" or "flstep" then hit enter.
If you create the autoexec file then it will load correctly each time you switch on as long as the disc is in.
