Hello,
I am a fresh owner of two Denford machines. Bought me a Denford Mirac and as a side, I got a Denford Micromill.
So looking forward to when they arrive, heard only good things about the Mirac.
However, I also have a question before I start my deep dive into the forum.
Which software am I allowed to use and belongs to my machines? I attached the plates of both.
Thanks!
Regards,
Daniel

Re: New, with a MIRAC
You need to get the cases open and check the actual software version on the eproms.
If it is late enough (I think ver2.2) you can run the micromill on the latest VR5, not sure on the mirac. Someone 'official' will hopefully be along soon with firm knowledge on the version required.
I run 2 Micromills from the same time period on VR5 although since 'upgrading' to VR5 and Quickcam I have had issues with machines loosing positions and doing random things but can't confirm this is down to software as I no longer have the original post processor software to test with. I have tried the later post processed files within VR2 but some wouldn't work (depended on the version of VR2) others still had issues with positional loss or random movements.
Hope that helps
