Failed "Z" axis stepper motor

We have a well used Compact MicroRouter that has cut out hundreds of F1inSchools cars... Recently our "Z" axis motor went dead... Wires broken inside the housing.

I am assuming with age of machine that spares could be a little difficult, considering the web site listed on the side of the motor is no long active.

Is it possible to get some technical data on the motors? That way I could source a new retro fitted motor?

Alternatively you might have some still in stock at Denford... Sweet... How much to get it here to Aust

It'll cost a bit to get to Aus but you could try source one yourself:

Alternatively, you could try fitting another motor which may be easier for you to source, and modifying the motor clamp.
You will probably have to remove the speed controller and wire the new motor directly to the mains...it will then only run at full speed unless it has speed control on the motor body itself (some do, some don't)

I might not have been as clear above, sorry... It is the stepper motor with or without brake that I am keen on sourcing.

Hi, The Z axis motor is fitted with a brake. The one you had was probably made by MAE which we no longer use but we do still use an equivalent.

The item is BI00422BK and will be available in Australia through REA our agent there.
