What sort of feed rates are people using on the micro router?
I wonder if I'm going a bit slow?
6.3mm router bit I'm running at 500mm/m on mdf with a 2mm DOC
Feed rates?

Re: Feed rates?
We recommend a feed of 1000, spindle speed 23000 & depth of cut 100% of tool diameter.

Re: Feed rates?
Yes that's what we use.
If you want you could lower the depth of cut & increase the federate.

Re: Feed rates?
I run it all the time on the 2 machines at work and mine at home, your ears are your friend... if it sound rough dial it back on the over ride. So if you are doing a plunge/slot cut then I might dial it back a little then when it is up or down milling it will be fine on 50% step over
