microrouter 4 ns stopping in the middle of a job.

Post by papa_dogo » Tue 14 Jun , 2016 19:11 pm

my microrouter has begun stopping in the middle of a job. the error message is 'communication error' (3 of these) then 'transmission buffer is full'.
after i click 'ok' for each of these, then pause, play, pause, play it works again (until it stops again).
any suggestions?

Are you using a dust extractor. We have had issues with dust extractors causing static causing the USB issues.

i am using a dust extractor. but i have been happily using a dust extractor along (even in the cold, highly static charged winter).

if this is the problem, is there a way to use a dust extractor and not cause static issues?

now i'm getting endless 'transmit buffer is full' error messages, even when just jogging the machine.

Is the dust extraction running at this point? Try earthing all points on the vac.

What control does your machine have? If it's a USB connection you could try moving to a different USB port on the computer. You could also look at updating the firmware & VRMilling software if it is a NextStep USB control.
