where does this go? tool holder i removed the compound slide but hole's don't line up

that looks like a rear toolpost

I sort of thought it might be a rear one,but unsure as to
Where to attach on the rear as there are no mounting
Holes on rear of crosslide lathe was a pnc2.

normally on the backend of the cross slide, take the blue cover off at the back of the cross slide and have a nose.
