I just got back from a trip overseas and powered up my Easiturn only to find that the main spindle is not rotating (though everything else is fine - X and Z motion, coolant pump, lights, etc).
I tried jumping pins 55 and 56 on the Combivert with a bit of wire, which should cause to spindle to run at max rpm, but there is nothing. So, it looks like the fault is on the lathe itself, not in my Mach3 control unit.
Anybody come across this before, or have any suggestions as to where I might best start trying to find the fault? A quick visual did not find any loose wires or obviously blown fuses, unfortunately.
Regards, and thanks in advance,
Rick
