Easiturn connectors

Post by diverjohn46 » Sun 18 Oct , 2009 19:05 pm

Having recently become the lucky (??) owner of an Easiturn without the PNC 3 I'm about to try and remember sufficient electronics to get it running from PC.

Following a few threads on here I managed - eventually- to find a source for the multipin connectors used to connect through to the PNC.

My plan is to use the existing wiring as it seems to go to all the right places already and finding the connectors was a bit of a headache. For those who are doing the same sort of thing the current info is:

'Trident' connectors, made by ITT Cannon.
These are stocked in the UK by Farnell's

Hope to get the beast up and running soon as I have the control card and also motor cards, all I need is now to get the nerve to start wiring up the components into the box!

The opportunity to get this lathe was too good to miss - especially as the chucks from my Bantam will fit on it :P !
