Hello could anyone please give me some info on how good an Easimill is with a Heidenhain control, how accurate are they, how rigid, and how easy to set up and program. Thanks Colin.

Hi Colin...
IMHO the Heidenhain controls are one of the easiest to learn and a good starting point to get into CNC. They can work in either Dialog mode (english-language type programming) or ISO (G and M code programming - good if you are familiar with ISO already)
The early Easimills used MHO motors and drives which were unreliable - if you have these then seriously consider upgrading to different drives / motors (or if looking then stay away:). Later models used SEM motors - much better.
Can't realy comment on the mechanics - being a software guy !
