Hi
I am in the process of converting my easiturn to mach 3 and need to work out the pully ratios for the lead screw and cross slide. Does anybody know what they are? or better still have figures for the steps per unit in mach.
Many thanks.

Come on - giz a clue?
It could save many conversions, not least mine, a bit of time!

Hi
I have used 1000 steps per mm Based on 10 microstep drives for both X & Z.
The thing that confused me was that I had heard that the leadscrew is metric and the cross slide imperial. Anyway that works for me.
I also have scanned my wiring diagram of the auto changer and if Denford give their permission will post it on this site.

Thanks - that's brilliant (on both counts).
Actually, it makes sense - the max resolution of the original is 0.005mm and the drivers are half step - so 200 step per mm.
