Easiturn 3 loosing position

Post by skatz » Wed 09 Jan , 2008 22:10 pm

Hi All,

I have an Easiturn 3, every now and then the stepper motor seems to stick but the readout still moves causing it to loose position, any one had this problem before?

Thanks in advance
skatz

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

I agree - definately sounds like the stepper motor stalling becuase something is mechanically tight

Check for Backlash in the relevent axis as well.

It may be that the tab nut needs adjusting.
