Have lost the key to our easimill 3, Does anyone know the contact layout for the man / single step / auto switch ie all n/o or a combination of n/o and n/c. All so thinking it would be good to replace the stop and start switches, any RS part numbers anyone ??????

The PNC 3 control was made by North East Electronics.
They may be able to provide spares.

Hi,
I had the same problem, but it is easily solved.
1. Get a key that fits the slot, (it does not have to turn).
2. Remove the 2 nuts that hold the barrel in place. (This will separate the electric switch part from the key section).
3. With the key section out swap around the small brass key pins so it fits the key that you have, so it fits, or file off so they fit, or remove the pins that are not correct and work on 2 or 3 pins.
4. Then once the barrel turns with the replacement key, refit to the key barrel to the electric switch part.
It should take you about 10 minutes to complete, this trick is often used in the motor trade with car door keys and locks. But saves time and costs nothing.

Thanks for the key reply but my switch fell apart when the back was removed

. Any idea on the contact positions of this switch and can just fit a replacement switch. i think its all N/O in the man position and then one contact made the single step and then the other in the auto position. Does anyone have a drawing for this?
Regards
Alex
