Hi
I made the mistake of taking off the timing disc out of the back of the Auto tool changer on my easiturn pnc3 without marking the position.
Do any one know how to reset the position?

My disk was completely missing when I bought it!
I don't think it's all that critical. It just needs to read the tool number slightly after it has passed the correct tool position. The motor then reverses at half power until it locks.
The detection point wants to be fairly close to the lock position otherwise you will have a delay before it actually locks - but I don't think it needs to be that accurate.
Bit of trial & error!

Hi Simon
cheers for the info, I will have another go, but I think it has other issues, because it was working fine, then it just starts rotating round and round when tool is selected or doesn't rotate at all, depending on what tool number is selected. The circuit looked a bit corroded, so I have clean it up, but have yet to test it. All this happened before I lost the timing posistion for the disc.
