Does the toolpost make any noise when you ask for a toolchange? ie: it could be jammed and trying to turn. Also can you post the serial no and year of manufacture for the machine?

If it dosn't make any noises, then it should be a simple electronic fault

Hello,
Thank you for replying. I can here the noise trying to activate the turrett. I am sure its not siezed up as it has been used lots recently. It does try to activate and can see movement, but, then noise stops and tool is not registering on screen as tool number. It appears that it does not move far enough out from its set position, and therefore , not allowing it to rotate. Am not willing to remove turrett yet.
Best Regards,
Mike

Can you remove the drive motor (leaving the turret on the machine) and see if the motor rotates? You could also then put something into the motor coupling on the turret and try and rotate the toolchanger.
