Hi.
I am looking for the dimensions/hole locations of the drill/boring bar holder block used on the Cyclone tool changer turret.
I need to make a few up.
Thanks

Do you know the make ?
Is it a Baruffaldi ?
Maybe the blocks were all the same but the chap who can find any drawings we have is away at the moment.
Post a photo so we can be sure what we're looking for.

Hi.
Yes the turret is a Baruffaldi. Dims for the rectangular blocks used to hold sleeves for drilling/boring etc.
Thanks

that face plate has all the tool clamps missing as well as the drill blocks. Except tool position 3 which has a drill block fitted, possibly.

Hi, this could be it, as it appears to be the same as the Denford own brand turret.

Looks good thanks. Looks like the bore is finish machined after being attached to the lathe. Not sure how? (Reamer?)
One other question. How many turrets had coolant through turret

Sorry, we don't know. Not sure about the finish boring either...probably drilled and reamed in situ.

it would probably be a variable boring bar fitted in the chuck of the machine.
The X axis would be moved to to predeturmined centre line then the final skim is taken with the boring bar.
