Cyclone RS232 procedure required

Post by Emimec » Mon 20 Jul , 2009 22:25 pm

Can I ask anyone in the "know" the correct procedure to use when downloading and uploading programs in the controller to the pc. Do parameters need setting, baud rates etc, plus what should the Com port be cofigured to on the pc.

I have a Fanuc OT controller.

Can I use the freebie program from Heidenhain called TNC server that I use for my Bridgeport mills to send and recieve said programs, or is there another better freebie around?

Bob
