Doesn`t have to mean the actual turret itself has an "overheat" problem, could easlily be on the control card or even the transformer!

Or it could even be similar to the issue you had with the spindle drive "overheat" issue which turned out to be no 24V control voltage, maybe worth checking the supply to the Turret control unit??

Hi,

Check that the Barruffaldi control card is seated fully(if it has one fitted). It will be in the box on the back of the machine & is a card with terminals down either side with a board slotted in to a plug down the centre. This card has a load of LED`s on it. It may be loose & not fully seated. You can fasten large tyewraps around to secure it.

Many thanks
I will have a look for this card and check it out.

I will ask Badders if it is possible to find the electrical drawings and schematic for my machine, and carry electrical checks along the line.

If your layout is the same as mine then the turret control card is located on the door at the right hand end looking at the control box from the back of the machine. So when you drop the door down the card should be upright.

Hi Rob
Yes, thats the same as mine, and it does have plastic ties round it to hold it in. I will double check the seating of this.
Thanks
