X axis not connected

Hi all
had a break in my X axis encoder cable so have swopped it over for one of the spare wires that's in the core, now getting a message X axis not connected. So first i need to know if i have plugged it in to the correct socket as i forgot to take a photo of where it came from on the board. Can anyone help Thanks

Can you post a picture of where you have connected it to & the spare plugs in the area.
