Do any of you have a set of schematics for the above?
The Serial Number of my machine is: 25031E 1991.
Having used the lathe for a couple of years with the Fanuc controller, I've decided to convert it to something more modern.
I like the Fanuc, but compared to Mach4 (for example) it feels pretty clunky, having to enter G-Code manually or drip-feed. I think I'll get more use out of it with Mach4.
I've managed to get the Fanuc Red Cap motors running using Allen Bradley Ultra 3000 Servo Drives, having removed one.
Details here: https://www.cnczone.com/forums/servo-mo ... tware.html
I'd like to use as much of the original wiring as possible - so wire colours / pin numbers for the Axis Encoder (Honda) connectors and spindle drive (which I'm going to re-use) would be most useful.
