Duty Cycle on Sindle Motor of PCB ENGRAVER and Floating Head

Post by Steve » Mon 04 Feb , 2013 17:38 pm

The motor on the PCB engraver and the floating head have a 50% duty cycle with a 20min max on time.

It is ideal to have a second motor if long production runs are envisaged. This can be used as a toolchange so tracks are cut with one motor and the holes drilled with another. This also speeds up the toolchange procedure.

Attached is the page from the manual of the PCB engraver.
