im using 2d design v2 and i have v1, i can send to the virtual milling suite and i can set up the axis by the jog function, but when i go to using the real machine all i can do is to home all the axes. the machine is receiving as i can see and hear it move to home. but i cannot move cutter using the same keys i used in virtual milling. Also when i go to change the parameters it asks for a password, can this be the problem if so can it be overridden.

What version of VR Milling are you using. 2 or 5 ?

IF you have Version 5 VR Milling, home the axes , click on the JOG tab and try moving the axes with the arrow keys and Page up and Page down buttons. If they do not work check the status of the LED under the JOG tab, if it is RED select the JOG tab again and ensure it is GREEN and try the jog buttons again
