Hi,
After upgrading 2d design to v2, every time we go to output, a message appears saying: "The specified driver is not present on this machine. Please install the driver or click on Change Driver."
If you click on Change Driver and re-select the correct one, it then works fine. But the problem returns after closing down the program and returning to it later. This is happening on two PCs with different cutters attached. And it all started after upgrading to v2!
Anyone getting the same? Any ideas on how to set the printer driver perminantly?
Thanks
Mark

- Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then. - Location: Sunny Brighouse

It does sound like you have a CNC machine (or cutter / plotter) selected, which hasn't been installed.
To reset the output machine to default in Techsoft v2:
Menu: Setup -> CNC Devices
choose the default General HPGL PLotter
Menu: Setup -> Save Setup (optional ?)
OK
Menu: Setup -> Set as default (this will make the current settings active next time you run the software - eg which output device is selected)
