How do I get the Denford machines to appear in Techsoft 2D so I can create my design on a Denford Microrouter ?

There are 3 items to get the Techsoft 2D software to have Denford Machines in the PLOT list

1. Techsoft 2D CD
2. Techsoft 2D 3-1/2" registration floppy with EXTENSION DENFORD written on it
3. A Denford CD or 3-1/2" floppy titled DENFORD TECHSOFT EXTENSIONS.

If you just install these then the Denford Machine names should appear in the PLOT list within Techsoft 2D

NB, Version 2 Techsoft will not support Denford machines directly, to use your design from version 2, then save it as a DXF, and import this directly into the CAM wizard inside Version 5 VR Milling

Which of these are you able to supply and at what cost?

We can supply the Denford extension BI01815B for £150
Your version 1x Techsoft license disk will need to be upgraded by Techsoft (think its about £10)

However, both these bits of software are getting old now, and you may want to be looking to upgraded to V5 milling - this will take any DXF file from any version of techsoft and quickly produce a G code program.
Alternatively, QuickCAM 2D (£150) will allow you to create drawings / load DXFs / DWGs / Gerbers and create a toolpath for Denford machines. (Also includes posts for other machines such as Boxford and DaVinci)

see this for upgrading to V5 milling:

Upgrading is a bit more costly than getting the extension, but you are also getting new hardware, and fast USB machine connection. The amount of imrovement depends on your current machine and its age - in some cases you get a dramatic improvement in performance.
