Generating Internal Taper Drawing

Post by bgreenslade » Mon 31 Jan , 2011 11:57 am

I'm trying to create a drawing to turn an internal taper. I have spasmodically managed to change (what I assume is a toggle button) external to internal in the status bar. If it does change, then I either get an error or if I select the the line or arc tool nothing happens. Any advice welcome please.

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

Firstly draw an external shape to give the billet some "substance"

Then when you click internal mode, it will want you to specify the start position of the internal taper - you should see a small square move up and down the front face as you move the mouse up/down. Click to set the point, then click the next line internally.
NB, the software is very limiting with internal shapes and will not allow any recesses (ie, every sucessive endpoint must be at the same or a smaller diameter)
