M/C limit Error

Post by Sarah Williams » Mon 28 Jan , 2013 16:46 pm

Trying to cut a simple file on 6600 router. It cuts for about 3 seconds and then I get this error message:
M/C Limit Error: Machine Error Linear Move Exceeds Limits.
Anybody any idea what is going wrong?

In VR Milling 5 you can use the blue info button to see where the program is going outside the movement limits of the machine
viewtopic.php?f=37&t=3646

You might have the Z work offset set too low or the X and Y set too close to the edge of the table

This problem indicates the program is telling the machine to move outside the working envelope of the machine. The error message will tell you which axis it is.

You will have to either reposition your workpiece and datum or adjust the head if it is the Z axis.
