EasyScan error Axis Specified Out Of Range

Post by Denford Admin » Fri 12 Mar , 2010 11:04 am

You get "Axis Specified out of Range" when opening the Easyscan wizard:

This problem seems to happen occasionally - especially when the user has struggled to install the VR software and drivers.

All you need to do is right-click advanced options, enter the password and choose the scan axis (X or Y)
NB Do not change the scanning axis from default as it MUST match the way in which the machine is hard-wired. In other words, you can't just change which axis the scanner reads in (X or Y) as some wires need changing as well.

Note ? For some reason VR Milling 5 does not always register X as the default axis. This is when you get the "Axis Specified Out Of Range" error. By doing the procedure above and selecting X as the scanning axis solved the problem
