would like to mill 3D

Recently purchased a triac from September 1993 and like to mill 3D.
How do I do?
What should be upgraded?
What does it cost?
Where can I buy it?
Or should I throw it all out and ignore the tool changer and buy the new steering system?
In my work I use powermil as cam programs, there is no record of post prossessor for pmill?

Sincerely

The machine will cut 3D but it will be slow.

PowerMill should post to Denford you should be able to use a basic fanuc post.

If you need to create a post refer to the section on post processors.

A photo of the electrical cabinet would help advising on the upgrade. If you get the USB upgrade then the machine will be able to buffer moves and this will dramatically speed up 3D manufacture.

What version of software do you have? If you find the black label on the electrical cabinet a photo of that would help too.

Apart from the DOS software being very slow to mill, it is also very awkward to drip-feed long programs from floppy disk.
Hopefully your current control is a Baldor rack system - which there is a USB upgrade for... see this post for help determining your current setup:
