Micro Router Pro vacuum pump

Post by MLeadbeatter » Mon 10 Aug , 2009 1:00 am

Our micro router pro vacuum pump has stopped working, the green power switch still comes on. Any suggestions? Also where can I get a copy of a wiring diagram for the machine.

It may be just a fuse that has blown. In the electrical panel, locate a PCB with 5 fuses on it, the one on the top of the bank of 3 fuses, is the one for the vacuum pump. 3.15A (T) Slow blow

FYI - The vacuum pump only moves small amounts of air, sometimes people think that it is not working because they cannot feel lots of air movement when they hold their hand over the extraction hole. Also, if the vacuum bed is not holding to the Microrouter work surface, check for gaps in the sponge at the corners that will allow air to bleed in, also, the check valves (Ball bearing units) may have got dust / debris in them and allowing air to bleed in to the vacuum bed

Thanks for the reply, I checked the fuses, they were all OK. It now is working so must have been a loose connection somewhere.
Thnaks again.
