I'm new to Fanuc, so bare with me! I can get the above machine to run simple programs. but I cannot get it to zero datum from the bottom left of the component.
I drive the tool to the required point and follow the instruction as per the book using G90 G91 G92 codes, I expected the tool to them drive in G00 Xo Yo Zo to the component datum point, but it does not, and I get error codes of over travel in X and Y axis.
I have 3 down loaded books for this machine and they all suggest slightly different methods of referencing the component datum and there are obvious mistakes.
Has anyone got a full proof method to achieving this component datum point please
