I have some notes here that may be of help ?

VR Milling Ver 2 “incorrect axis configuration error- invalid image format”

Q. “incorrect axis configuration error” when trying to connect to the machine via the Machine button. Note Mint downloaded OK
Q. “invalid image format” error when the Mint file has been downloaded successfully i.e. 100%

A. It's downing loading the wrong mint file (i.e. MEX File)

1. Download the latest version of VR Milling Ver2
2. Make sure the correct machine is selected
3. Run easyupgrader: from here...

4. If the 4th axis option is selected and one not fitted?
5. Switch the machine on and off

There has also been an issue where the control type would not automatically change and scan for a matching controller.

For latest firmware (eg 5216) the control type should be 9
For older firmware (eg 5035) the control type should be 7

This is true for version 2 and version 5 VR Milling

PS - Control Type is set in machine parameters:
Menu > Setup > Machine Parameters password: denny

We have seen the Incorrect Axis Configuration error appear as soon as you start the 3D scanning wizard
It seems that the configuration file must have a corrupt value in it.

To fix this, right click on the first scanning screen to get the advanced menu - enter denny then drop down the scanning axis so its either X or Y.
(Usually its the X axis for most of our machines with scanners fitted)
