dxf import cutter clearance between moves
How do you change the cutter clearance between moves when using the DXF import? We need to do this to avoid 'crashing' into billet fixtures.

If I understand you correctly, you can adjust the clearance Z height by altering the Z Retract Height at the end of the CAM wizard.
(You may need to update to the latest version of V5 to see this feature -previous version were fixed at 2mm height clearance between moves)
In QuickCAM 2D, you can change this setting in the post processor file here:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Denford\Posts
Select the post you are using and change the line
safe2=2 to say safe2=10 for a 10mm stand off
