Computer recognises machine as new hardware

Post by Brentwood » Wed 28 Nov , 2007 17:44 pm

It seems that my computer is no longer recognising the Microrouter compact as an existing piece of hardware. After loading VR milling 5.13, and clicking on the "connect to real machine" icon, it says "found new hardware, install software for baldor usb devise" It also says check connection of rs232 cable. We never used that cable, just the usb cable. Do I need to reinstall a usb driver for the microrouter? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Brian Joyce

The Baldor drive board is not USB "Hot Plugable". So browse your VR Milling CD to the USB directory. Read the "Installing the driver.txt" and this should tell you how to reinstall the USB driver
