This could be because the control panel has been moved off the current screen - its position is remembered and restored next time you use the software.
For example, you may use a dual monitor system, move the control panel window to the 2nd monitor, then remove the 2nd monitor at a later date.
Next time you run the software, the Control Panel will still try to show on the 2nd screen.
Fix:
Locate the file:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR-USERNAME\Application Data\Denford\VRMilling5.FPS
Open the file in Notepad and find this section:
[ControlPanelStdForm]
Top=21
Left=21
Set the Top and Left values to something like the ones shown
Control Panel has disappeared in V5 milling

There have been some establishments which run security software that monitors the name of all windows opened on the PC. If it saw one with the title "Control Panel" , then it would stop the window from showing
We renamed the window to stop this happening, so make sure you have the latest version of v5 milling.
