VR MILLING - VIRTUAL
Customer writes - In virtual milling mode the object being milled is always off the edge of the mill table and we are constantly getting the error message that "move exceeds limits". When I cut on the real machine all is fine. Please help me with the Virtual Program.

In the Virtual Simulation:
In Virtual Reality CNC Milling click on the Setup tab, then select Default Billet Size. You can change the billet dimensions and the position of the billet on the machine’s table.
Maximum Billet size is X 9.00”, Y 5.00”, Z 6.50”.

There is a shortcut to moving where the billet is positioned on the table.
If you press shift and hold it down. Then left click on the billet and hold that down too you can now drag the part with the mouse. On releasing the part the billet resize and position window is shown so you can save the values.
On VR Milling 2 and early versions of 5 the Machine cover has to be removed or the guard opened before you can drag the billet.
If unsure click the red E-stop button and the cabinet top will dissapear.
