Access Violation 005c1c5b error in VR Milling

Post by paulwils7 » Mon 18 Jun , 2007 6:53 am

Hi guys,

I have a school here in Oz running a VR Milling V5 connected to a Microrouter Compact NS. When they click on the 'Select real machine' button it comes up with an 'access violation error 005c1c5b '. I have attached a screen shot of the error for you to check out.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

Cheers
Paul Wilson

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

This looks like an error from the part of the software that communicates with the machine. It going to be a problem with the mintcontrols ocx or milserver5000.exe not being registered, or a USB device driver is missing / not been installed properly.

Make sure latest version of vr is installed.
Double check the USB connection, and that the Baldor USB device appears in the device manager when the machine is connected
