Failed Virtual Reality Simulation

Post by DTtech » Thu 15 Nov , 2012 11:24 am

I created an F-1 model in Solidworks and then transferred it over to QuickCAM PRO as an stl. file. Following all the necessary steps I was able to create an accurate simulation of what should actually occur with the CNC router machine. I then transferred the file over to VR Milling V5 as a FNC. There, after going through the necessary steps, I ran the 3D simulation. It failed to even cut the block. Does the simulation have to run accurately before I can make the proper cut? And if so, what are some things that I can do to fix the simulation?
