Hi All,
i have been pushing my Triac PC quite hard recently and on 2 occasions yesterday had a stall occur on the spindle. one through pushing the feed rate and the other a G03 programming error. on both occasions the F1 fuse blew, this in turn took out the 30A breaker in the garage which is not a problem to reset. the problem is that it also takes down the computer.
This causes a problem when i am proving a job or running a batch as it would appear that the work and tool offsets are only saved when VR5 milling is closed in the proper manner, but as the power had failed the settings revert back to previously saved values.
Short of manually saving the settings once all tools and work zero has been set i cannot see a way to have the live offset changes saved. is there a setting i could activate to have this happen?
Regards
Paul
PS: i know i could slow down

Re: VR Milling 5 Offsets
I'd update to the latest version - am pretty sure that the offsets are now saved to file when the offset dialog is closed.
Work was done so that any changes to tooling/offsets in VR Milling are then reflected in QuickCAM 2D, without having to close VR Miling
