Notes uploading pictures and picture size

Adding picture or file attachments is now very easy to do - see this post for details: viewtopic.php?t=597
However - please don't just take a snapshot of your machine with your 10 Mega Pixel camera and upload it ! We will soon be out of memory on the server
Please take the time to reduce the size of your images to a maximum of 800 pixels wide.
If you're using XP, this power toy (free from Microsoft) is a brilliant tool for reducing images down to something suitable for the web:

And here is the equivalent unofficial Vista / Windows 7 version of the same thing:

Once its installed, you get a new right-click menu option in file explorer which will resize any image(s) files you have selected.
